About Me

I have lived in south Dakota, all of my life. My family is here, my roots are here. While I don't spend alot of time with "family", we always manage to bond together, when times get tough. Gunnar's death is more proof, of that.I also have a huge family of friends, and this "family"also pulls together, in a heart beat, when necessary. My parents live about 70 miles away, my husbands parents live about 7 miles from our house.

I was led here by Sarah at "Trying to Grok" I wanted to wish you Happy Mother's Day and to thank you for your son's service and great sacrifice. I looked at the great present my 9 yr old son made me today and I know how much we as mothers treasure all the beautiful art our children make us through the years, your son's special artwork reminds me to remember just how special my children's are and how I need to preserve it during the future. Thank you.

I, too, was sent sent in your direction by Sarah.

What a wonderful 1st grade treasure--I try to keep tabs on the masterpieces my girls make as well.

Thank you for being the kind of mom who raised such a strong and noble son.

God bless.

Just coming by to offer my thoughts and thanks to you, and for your son's service and sacrifice. Mother's Days is yet another day to remind us of the commitments and sacrifices made. Please know Gunnar is not forgotten, nor are you.
