About Me

I have lived in south Dakota, all of my life. My family is here, my roots are here. While I don't spend alot of time with "family", we always manage to bond together, when times get tough. Gunnar's death is more proof, of that.I also have a huge family of friends, and this "family"also pulls together, in a heart beat, when necessary. My parents live about 70 miles away, my husbands parents live about 7 miles from our house.

To my friends, and family that tell me to quit talking about Gunnar, his life, or his death, or his stuff, or his friends, the message should be clear...DO NOT COME HERE. to those who want to know, WELCOME!!please observe the above rule!

you keep on talking about gunnar... you tell the world what a fine and wonderful young man he was... how much he loved his momma and his family... how he died for his country and what he believed in... how his brothers respected and loved him... don't let anyone tell you different.

I am here for you too, right along with "some soldier's mom". You just keep talking about Gunnar as much as you need to. I am so very sorry for your loss...it absolutely breaks my heart. I am just another Mom here who worries and cries everytime I hear about one of our boys whose life was sacrificed, and I pray everyday for our own soldier and his safety. You can email me anytime at sanish1@aol.com
My heart goes out to you and God Bless your son who made the ultimate sacrifice.
