Hello, Debey........
No more waiting for these photos!
I don't know if they already had these or if they took them especially for you,
but I have them.
If you click on a photo, you get the high resolution version
and you can download that if you want to.
I can see Gunnar's name there.
Please let me know if you need help with these.

Alan,
tell Debey that is was my pleasure.I took the photos for her and any other parent, friend, spouse and others who are searching.I personally did not know that there was a desire to see memorials.I guess in all the day's work you don't think about it.Please convey my humble apology for my lack for forethought.Lastly, my unit is heading home now.Thank you for all of your work in putting out our Soldiers' stories.God bless you, our little back up Army at home.
P.S. I too am a Kentucky Colonel.

Again, I wish to thank everyone that helped with my search
i sent emails to a lot of people, and have heard from many of you...........May God Bless every one of you!
About Me
- debey
- I have lived in south Dakota, all of my life. My family is here, my roots are here. While I don't spend alot of time with "family", we always manage to bond together, when times get tough. Gunnar's death is more proof, of that.I also have a huge family of friends, and this "family"also pulls together, in a heart beat, when necessary. My parents live about 70 miles away, my husbands parents live about 7 miles from our house.

I love that memorial, even though it hurts too. My husband and I spent many minutes looking at the photos and all the names. My husband was there when SSG Rosales was killed, and when my husband got back and changed jobs, he ended up working with Rosales' best friend. It was nice for both of them to be able to talk about it. Oh Debey, I just want you to know that we think about Gunnar often in our household...
